The skeleton is mature with visible osteoarthrosis. There is an expanding lesion of the head of the fibula. It thins the overlying bone to the point of invisibility. The lesion extends to the margin of the joint between head of fibula and tibia. The endosteal margin has a narrow zone of transition between normal and abnormal bone. There is no visible indication of an extra-axial soft-tissue mass.
