Description: Arthroscopic reduction and suture fixation can be used safely and effectively in both skeletally immature and mature patients to treat tibial eminence fractures.
Tibial eminence fractures are relatively rare events, occurring much less commonly than their counterpart, midsubstance anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears. These injuries occur more commonly in skeletally immature patients due to the cartilaginous nature of their tibial eminence, although they also occur in adults.
