1989 Arthroscopic surgery for synovial chondromatosis of the hip

Description: Arthroscopy has advanced considerably in recent years, but is not often used for the hip. This is probably because of the shape and depth of the joint and the relatively small size of its capsule. We report our experience in the last four years, and in particular a successful arthroscopic operation for synovial chondromatosis.
