Description: Improve your skills for treating routine and high energy complex fractures and learn how to avoid complications. Lectures, case discussions, and hands-on cadaver labs explore various surgical treatment options for intraarticular and long-bone fractures, as well as locked and non-locked plating techniques. Discussions address alternative treatment and rehabilitation techniques for patients with complex fractures. This course incorporates contemporary strategies for pain management, infection control, and the psychosocial impact of injury.
