Orthopedics : About OWL RSS Feeds

Available OWL Feeds

OWL section feeds: You can get a feed for any OWL section. For instance, if you select a feed link while you're on the Orthopaedic Topics page, you'll get a feed of Orthopaedic Topics resources.

OWL search results feeds: You can also get a feed for any search you do on OWL. First do any search on OWL, then simply use the RSS, Add to Yahoo or Add to Google links on the search results page to generate the feed.

Links to Feeds: See our Site Map page for a complete list of all the available OWL feeds.

What are feeds and how do I use them?

A feed is a regularly updated summary of web content, along with links to full versions of that content. When you subscribe to a given website's feed by using a feed reader, you'll receive a summary of new content from that website. Important: you must use a feed reader in order to subscribe to website feeds.

What is RSS?
RSS is a feed format. Most feed readers support this format. Right now, OWL supports RSS 2.0.

How do I use OWL feeds?
To access OWL feeds, look for the RSS links on any OWL page. These links will generate a feed of current resource related to the page that you're looking at.

  4. - identify the search terms used to generate the feed.

We reserve all rights in and to the OWL marks. We also reserve the right to terminate any use of the feeds on grounds that we deem appropriate. You may not redistribute OWL feeds.
