We are pleased to announce the successful upgrade of OrthopaedicWebLinks.com. We have redeveloped the site with a new crisp look and have added several additional features to assist you in finding orthopaedic resources on the internet.
Improvements:
- CSS based templates - faster and more easily maintained, transition to full xhtml compliance
- Bookmarks - you can now keep track of your favorite links in your own folders and share with others
- Updated links - revalidation of all links on OWL to their current URLs
- Centralized login - we have added a centralized login system much like MSN Passport which will allow us to better handle user management and addition of new resources
- Mailing list archives - we are in the process of setting up the Orthopod mailing list archives in a forum based system
- OrthoUpdate - we will archive many of the important news releases from importants orthopaedic news sites and major orthopaedic journals.
Exciting technology:
- OWL Spider - we have developed a Spider which will allow us to index the Orthopaedic Internet
- Enhanced directory management
- Co-branding technology - OWL has the ability to provide a customizable Links solution for any website.
