Dear colleagues.. An old woman, about 74 y,fell down due to cerebral stroke, since 3 years, stayed in coma for 2 weeks, when regained her consciousness complained of pain in her Lt. hip (the paraplegic side)...treated medically in her rural area and stayed in bed for two successive years ,then started to use a walker to move around with great difficulty, clinically there's 5-6 cm shortening, marked limping and marked limitation of all hip movements, now her son came asking whether THR can be done to reduce her suffering ?...but who dares to manipulate this "biscuit" bones..?..what to do?..
