Dear Dr Shirazi, Xrays not very clear. Plus only AP view available. lot of new bone visible,if its a tumor it is likely to be an osteosarc. Eve myosistis ossificans would produce a similar picture.would get a Alkaline phosphatase level done(sadly myosistis will also give a raised level, but never the very high levels of an osteogenic sarcoma), CT if possible. If osteosarc confirmed, pre surgery chemo followed by surgery.....diaphyseal lesions permit good limb salvage ( more so as cXR is WNL) regrds jagdish On Jun 17, 10:42 am, "ultima" <ult...@utlonline.co.ug> wrote: > Dear members' > > Please find attached pictures from a 17 years old boy with a history of pain and gradual swelling in the left femur since May 2007.
