dear all,

Inputs appreciated,

Injury on the 15th. Riding a motorcycle, hit head on by a truck.

Treated by debridement and stabilisation with a joint spanning fixator.

Wound is relatively clean, but placed directly over the joint. The skin
surrounding the open wound is not good quality. If a thorough debridement is
done, we will be left with a 6 inch diameter hole on the front of the knee.

The patella is there but no patellar tendon.

Both distal Pulses are present.
