[Orthopod] Bony metastasis from Thyroid in inf.pubic ramus Can't Post

Dear Doctors,

On 5.7.08 I have posted this problem to you for your valuable suggesion but only a very few reply. Can you be more generous in replying.
Thanking you.
The problem was--------

One of my friend aged 62 years is suffering from 'Hurthle cell papillary carcinoma of thyroid'.
It was first detected in 1999 at Tata Memorial cancer research institute and partial thyroidectomy was done there.
Long 7 years he was alright.

In 2006 recurrence of thyroid nodule appeared and total thyroidectmy with excision of neck gland done at Kolkata and later Iodine ablation therapy done at Neuclear Medicine Dept of Tata Memorial Cancer Research Centre.
In 2006 a small erosion (? metastsis) appear in inferior pubic ramai (Lt) and gradually increasing in size.
Later on in 2008 April linear full course radiotherapy done due to pain in the buttock.

Recent x-ray shows the bony lesion is of alarming size and the pain in buttock and lt. hip increases.

He is not getting definitive opinion from his consulting doctors.
Is anyone can help regarding the management in this present situation?
What is the opinion of our Orthopaedic Onco-Surgeons, Nuclear Medicine Specialist, Radiotharapist?

Thanking all of you,
