Distraction over proximal osteotomy. Well done. What is the fixator you applied? AFAIR to equalize leg length in the case 9 cm lenghtening was considered. Looks too long for one level, double corticitomy would be more practical. Though if you plan immediate nailing after needed length is gained, duration of external fixation will not exceed 90-100 days. Do you plan angular correction at the fracture level? I would add one more ring above the ankle connected to the foot frame by hinges to allow ankle motions. -- Best regards, Alexander N.
