Well done. What is the fixator you applied?
AFAIR to equalize leg length in the case 9 cm lenghtening was
considered. Looks too long for one level, double corticitomy would be
more practical. Though if you plan immediate nailing after needed
length is gained, duration of external fixation will not exceed 90-100
days. Do you plan angular correction at the fracture level?
I would add one more ring above the ankle connected to the foot frame
by hinges to allow ankle motions.
