AFAIK nthing was found in personnel. Recent years they routinely have been using 3(!) pair of gloves. JB> Scary - let us know what you find out. To the moment i performed a literature search over the net - for instance a similar outbreak was caused by i/v soulutions in sealed bottles (MOLECULAR EPIDEMIOLOGY OF A NOSOCOMIAL OUTBREAK DUE TO Enterobacter cloacae AND Enterobacter agglomerans IN CAMPINAS, SAO PAULO, BRAZIL / Rev. Inst. Med. trop. S. Paulo 42 (1): 1-7, January-February, 2000)... I am not sure the bottles have been cultured in this case and probably no one bottle from the package is available to the moment. Alos possible cross transmission is a question... -- Best regards, Alexander N. Chelnokov Ural Scientific Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics 7, Bankovsky str.
