Hello All, A male 14 y.o., congenital renal anomaly with failure, on chronic haemodialysis 3 times a week. I am not aware whether kidney transplanation is considered for him. At the background he broke both femoral necks 6 months ago. The patient is now still on bed rest in a local hospital. Local doctors requst advice on orthopaedic management - is surgery possible? If yes what type of fixation/reconstruction would be optimal now? Or just mobilization on crutches without surgery? THX in advance. -- Best regards, Alexander N.
