hi all,
First of thanks for sparing enough time to ponder upon my case.
My surgeon,
Ghazanfar Ali Shah
MBBS, F.R.C.S. (England), F.A.C.S., F.I.C.S., F.A.A.O.S., Diplomate American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
is not willing to operate my FD in the proximal femur. Meanwhile, he has devised a plan for carrying out surgery whenever it will be needed. He is planning curettage and bone grafting using a mixture of autologous bone from my left ilium, platelet driven growth factors, osteoset pellets, bone substitute / calcium sulphate and pinning / inserting fibula / cortical struts from my right leg into the weakened femoral shaft and proximal femur after removing IM Nail to strengthen it and also eliminating the chances of AVN of femoral head.
Now, what do you all suggest?

In the meantime, hairline fracture in my right femoral shaft is healing and i am taking FOSAMAX 70mg weekly.
