Dear colleagues, Patient 18 y.o. with pelvic injury after RTA 2 month ago. High amputation of the left femur was performed in the initial hospital. Deep wound infection occurred which resulted with exarticulation of the left hip. Pelvic injury was treated by bed rest only. 2 month later the partient referred to our unit. Vlosed reduction of AP and vertical displacement of the posterior aspect was performed. Today it is 3 month after the injury. The question is how to reduce the anterior part of the pelvis? How the left and right rami can be mobilized and reduced? Maybe left through the initial fracture lines in the acetabulum, or more anteriorly? What approach(es) should be used? Any other advices and suggestions? THX in advance. -- Best regards, Alexander N. Chelnokov Ural Scientific Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics 7, Bankovsky str.
