[ORT-L] Ilizarov foot plate Can't Post

When I was at AAOS mtg I saw a footplate with a rocker bottom (similar to a
cast shoe) that one could apply to an Ilizarov frame.
Does anyone know who makes it?
Thanks

Dr. Blitzer

I am not aware of a shoe specifically designed for this purpose; however, I have made one from a cast shoe before. Refer to Dr. Paley's JBJS article from Spring of 2006. I believe he has one pictured there. I hope this helps.

I also usually furnish my own using the canvas top rocker sole.
Ive also used the Markell Shoe'sOrtho Wedge Healing Shoe; Darco SlimLine Cast Boots or even just the darco APB.

We have recently developed a foot plate for different external fixation systems.
It is about to be released for commercial / wide applications ( 2-3 months).
If you interested let me know and I will provide you to the manufacturer' name and address.
