Dear frinends, The onsite RECOA I Course have finished and now goes to start the online Course that it will have place until end of July. The onsite RECOA I Coursee that have take part in Viseu, Portugal, in 26 and 27 of April 2007, was an arduous task but with deserved success. It not only got great adhesion (195 participants), as the satisfaction degree was great (97% of the participants considered it good or a reasonable course). We are now initiating the online Course that we anticipate very participative. So far there are 361 participants. We want to remember that, supporting the philosophy of the "Open Access Movement" that fights against the commercialization of the scientific information at a world-wide level ( www.biomedcentral.com ), the online RECOA I Course is gratuitous and universal, what means to say that people all over the world can intervene gratuitously. On the other hand, the registrations for this "virtual" course, will continue to be open, accepting new registrations until its closing date at 31 of July 2007. To accede to the "virtual" online RECOA Course, you can go to www.recoa.org , open the menu "Virtual Course" and in case thatyou are not yet registered or if you have forgotten your username and password, you can make a new one, clicking in "not to member yet? Click here" and introducing a username and password of your choice, and completing the remaining data. You will be able to review the conferences and presented free papers, to send opinion or to make questions to the authors or other participants, to answer to other interventions and in the end, to make the evaluation test that will give right to a certificate of participation in the online RECOA I Course. And all this gratuitously. We also want to inform you that RECOA II Course is already in preparation, for 25 and 26 of April, 2008, and will have place in the Tivoli Marinotel in Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal. We hope to count with your participation. Best regards, Nuno Craveiro Lopes Coordinator of RECOA Courses www.recoa.org
