Crutches: UCL/Great Ormond St Clinical Guidelines
A child may be required to mobilize, non-weight bearing or partial weight bearing. If this is the case the Physiotherapist should assess the child for suitability for a walking aid, then supply and teach the safe use of the appropriate walking aid.
