He went on to receive his Medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Abidi stayed in the Philadelphia area for his Residency with Thomas Jefferson Hospital and served as a consultant for the sports teams at St. Joe's University while also consulting for the Philadelphia Phillies. Dr. Abidi is an avid lecturer and presenter on numerous orthopaedic topics and is involved with various basic science research projects.
