for the People of Los Angeles and Southern California
Lower Back pain and sciatica can be debilitative, affecting the patient physically, mentally and spiritually. By combining cutting edge orthopedic technology with a caring, conservative approach, Dr. Gross has become a recognized specialist in Selective Endoscopic Discectomy (SED)â„¢. SED is for patients who have failed to get lasting improvement with conservative care such as with anti-inflammatory medication, physiotherapy, chiropractic and steroid injections. For those patients who truly need surgical intervention to correct lower back pain and/or sciatica due to a herniated disc or ruptured disc, SED is one the least invasive lower back surgery procedures known to current orthopedic science.

A good introduction to Selective Endoscopic Discectomy(SED), the minimally invasive surgical procedure that is used to treat a herniated or ruptured disc(s).
Dr. Gross, a well-respected Los Angeles orthapedic surgeon, specializes in SED which has been coined as conservative care for lower back pain and total well being because it is performed on an out-patient basis, under local anesthesia and patients can go home the same day experiencing relief of their lower back pain and sciatica.
The reader will have a better understanding of SED after reading this article.
