A good introduction to Selective Endoscopic Discectomy(SED), the minimally invasive surgical procedure that is used to treat a herniated or ruptured disc(s).

Dr. Gross, a well-respected Los Angeles orthapedic surgeon, specializes in SED which has been coined as conservative care for lower back pain and total well being because it is performed on an out-patient basis, under local anesthesia and patients can go home the same day experiencing relief of their lower back pain and sciatica.

The reader will have a better understanding of SED after reading this article.
