Description: Radiology case 363-1484
The initial myelography shows deformity of the theca, which is narrowed behind the L4/L5 intervertebral disk. The canal is narrowed in two planes. The water soluble contrast myelogram shows expansion of the contrast-filled spaces over the nerve root pouches. There is osteophytic lipping at the margins of the vertebrae, but the sclerotic facet joints are not clearly shown.
