Description: Clinical presentation: 21 months old girl fell out of bed and now has painful, swollen left wrist.
A slightly oblique dense line crosses the junction of distal metaphysis with the diaphysis of the left radius. Each end of the line is associated with some buckling of the unbroken cortex. The appearance implies some bone compression with superimposition of trabecula. The images are taken through a cast, which complicates any analysis of the soft tissue shadowing.
