Description: Features in the image
Immature skeleton. There are multiple destructive foci in the proximal femora and adjoining pelvis.
Our records do not indicate whether there were any Thymus enlargement, which would be common in a child with this condition. Such diffuse bone involvement is a feature of this disorder which occurs mostly between 15 and 25 years. The lesion may progress and become similar to acute lymphoid leukaemia.
