Immature skeleton. There are multiple destructive foci in the proximal femora and adjoining pelvis.
Our records do not indicate whether there were any Thymus enlargement, which would be common in a child with this condition. Such diffuse bone involvement is a feature of this disorder which occurs mostly between 15 and 25 years. The lesion may progress and become similar to acute lymphoid leukaemia.
