There is a patchy sclerotic process in the proximal metaphysis of the tibia and extending postero-medially and into the tibial spines. There is loss of tibial cortico-medullary distinction as the process reaches the postero-medial bone cortex. At this point, there is a lamellar periosteal reaction on the upper tibial metaphysis. There is no visible extra-axial soft-tissue mass and the knee joint soft-tissue structures appear normal with no indication of joint effusion.
