Description: CONCLUSIONS: Inflammation of subacromial and subdeltoid bursae in association with synovitis of the glenohumeral joints and tenosynovitis of the biceps may contribute to the diffuse discomfort in the shoulder girdle observed in patients with polymyalgia rheumatica.
