Description: Dr. Kenneth S. Heiferman is a medical staff member of the Neurologic & Orthopedic Hospital of Chicago, a member of Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery and Neuroresearch (CINN), and an assistant professor of neurosurgery at Rush Medical College, Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Heiferman has over 20 years of experience treating the full range of neurosurgical disorders. He is an authority on the surgical and non-surgical treatment of back and neck pain. Dr. Heiferman has significant expertise and experience performing complex spine surgeries including minimally invasive procedures and artificial disc replacement surgery, which have shown to reduce post-operative pain and speed recovery time.
Dr. Heiferman performed his medical school and residency training at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, followed by a fellowship in neurosurgical oncology at Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery and Neuroresearch. He joined the CINN medical staff in 1989.
