Description: Poster Board Number: P309 Spine Jie Wu, MD Beijing China (n) To evaluate the frequency distribution of estrogen receptor (ER) gene polymorphism in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) A total of one hundred and fifty-six subjects were enrolled in the study. The ER gene, which contains polymorphic Pvu?ograve;and Xba?ntilde;sites, was detected by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism in 86 patients with AIS and 70 age-matched healthy controls. And the curve severity was measured using Cobb's method in AIS patients
